In the wake of the pandemic, the fight for equal rights, and the battle against police brutality, how are you coping with what's happening in our world?

I have had some engaging conversations with several people regarding our current political climate and the things that are happening all around with the movement for racial equality, and to end police brutality. It's been very interesting to me to listen and do my best to try to understand some of the different perspectives that I have heard. I have two very close friends who are retired law enforcement. Understandably both of them have mixed emotions since neither of them ever experienced anything close to the negative encounters that we are working to put an end to right now. Michael thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings regarding our current battle for equal rights and freedom from police brutality. Some days the frustrations are overwhelming and indeed "rage" is what I often feel. I am grateful to God for the inspiration that He has given me to create a peaceful place where we can share our perspectives and help to encourage one another in this struggle. I am sure that "Change Has Come" and am doing everything possible to stand courageously and with dignity as we run this race to the finish line. Great Blog and a great place to allow all of us to express ourselves. I really don't know where to begin. First, thank you for creating this space for dialogue and communication. I guess I can start by saying if I was not a man after God's own heart I would have lost my mind by now. We are in a real quandary right now. As an example, if we are in our home, apartment, etc, and all of sudden we had a water pipe that burst.
